We're looking for a Frontend Developer to join our engineering team to work on building and maintaining webpages. You will work closely with the creative lead and agencies to develop our main website.
Essential requirements
- Extensive knowledge of key frontend technologies - HTML, CSS and Javascript
- Experience of building and maintaining websites using some or all of the following stack: Next.js, React, Tailwind and Strapi (headless CMS)
- Working knowledge of source control using Git & GitHub
- Keeping up to date with the ever changing landscape in our industry
- Being able to work with others to solve challenging problems
Highly desirable experience
- Exposure to backend languages - Ruby and/or Go
- Knowledge of backend frameworks - Ruby on Rails
- Interest in and experience of UI/UX design
- OOP, design patterns and composition of code
- Experience working with GitHub for project management (including Issues and Projects).
- Expertise in agile methodologies and sprint rituals
- Confidence in pair programming exercises
