We're looking for a Business Development Representative to join our Sales team and help build the pipeline for Krystal Managed Cloud and our wider hosting and infrastructure services.

This is a front-line sales role. You'll research the market, identify potential customers, reach out to them and qualify leads. We are looking for someone who brings curiosity, communication skills, and ability to listen and who knows that the right questions matter more than a polished sales script.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in tech sales. We'll invest in your development and there's a clear development path to a senior BDR or Account Executive role as you grow.

What you’ll do:

Lead generation

  • Proactively research and identify companies that could benefit from Krystal's managed cloud and hosting services
  • Build and maintain target account lists using LinkedIn, industry directories, and other tools
  • Attend industry events and virtual meetups to build relationships and spot opportunities

Outreach

  • Initiate contact with target accounts through email, social media (primarily LinkedIn) and phone
  • Write clear, personalised outreach that speaks to each prospect's specific context
  • Follow up consistently and professionally

Qualification

  • Hold discovery conversations to understand a prospect's current setup, pain points and whether Krystal is a good fit
  • Qualify or disqualify leads based on an ideal customer profile

Pipeline and reporting

  • Keep accurate, up-to-date records of all activity and opportunities in our CRM
  • Maintain a healthy, well-organised pipeline and flag risks or gaps to your manager proactively

Market awareness

  • Stay informed about trends in managed cloud, hosting and related technology
  • Share competitor intelligence and market insights with the wider sales and marketing team

What We Offer

  • £28,504 – £32,576 base salary - depends on your experience - OTE of £40,000
  • Full-time or part-time hours — we'll work with you to find an arrangement that works

Highly desirable experience

  • It would be great if you also have:

  • - Experience in a lead generation or SDR/BDR role, with a track record of consistently hitting or exceeding targets for booked appointments
