Krystal Identity is our brand-new secure platform designed to centralise your access to our services. Designed and built entirely in-house, Krystal Identity also provides a new level of security for your account, including:
- More options for two factor authentication - authenticator apps or security devices like Yubikeys.
- More automated monitoring of account activity to attempt to detect malicious behaviour.
Once activated, it will provide a seamless experience when you’re working in the World of Krystal.
What do I need to do?
Next time you try to access one of our services, you'll be directed to Krystal Identity where you can simply use your existing email address and password to log in.
The first time you do this, you’ll need to just verify your email address - we’ll send you an email (from this address: identity@krystal.uk) and you’ll need to copy the code from that into your web browser. For more details about how to login please see our help documentation.
What about Katapult accounts?
If you have a Katapult account, we’ll be migrating it to Krystal Identity over the next 24 hours. If you have both a WHMCS and Katapult account with the same email address, they will be merged automatically.
What about my other logins?
The switch to Krystal Identity does not affect your logins for cPanel, FTP or your email accounts. You’ll be able to login as normal through the links in your Client Area.
Have you set up Two Factor Authentication yet?
We’d like to take this opportunity to encourage you to set up Two Factor Authentication on your account - this will add an extra layer of security to protect your services. For details on how to do this, please refer to our docs. It’s pretty simple to do and should only take a few minutes.
Further improvements planned!
Moving to Krystal Identity is just the start of a planned programme of user experience improvements for Krystal clients. Next year, we’ll be introducing a new billing system and support platform which will all be fully integrated with your Krystal Identity. Keep up to date on all developments by following our Krystal blog or joining our dedicated Krystal Discord Channel.
Any questions?
We understand that changes to account access can raise questions, so we’re here for you.
If you have any issues or questions about any of the above or have trouble accessing your account, please don’t hesitate to contact our friendly support team who’ll be more than happy to help.
