Here at Krystal, Black Friday is going Green.

In 2017 we became one of the first hosts to be powered by 100% renewable energy - this is something we’re incredibly proud of. But is our work done? Absolutely not! 

In our eyes, achieving carbon neutrality in terms of our electrical energy usage wasn’t the end goal, it was the first step. Our planet is fast-approaching a global disaster and it’s at the forefront of our minds to be as proactive as we possibly can. Therefore we’re turning Black Friday Green! 

For every hosting package purchased on Green Friday (and over the weekend) we will plant 1 tree in our grove in the Scottish Highlands with Trees for Life.

Trees for Life is a charity based in Scotland who we are making regular donations to, to assist with their project of restoring the highlands with natural forests. Our Krystal grove so far has 3070 trees and we are constantly working to plant more. Rather than planting rows and rows of uniform carbon-capturing but otherwise ecologically destructive trees, Trees for Life is a long term effort to restore and extend the natural forest habitats providing both a carbon sink and a healthy wildlife ecosystem.

By purchasing a hosting package with us over Green Friday weekend (28/11/19 till 01/12/19), not only will you be joining an honest and reliable host which runs entirely off renewable energy but you’ll also be adding to our grove in the Scottish Highlands. Purchasing 1 hosting package sign up equals 1 tree planted by us, for you.

Terms and conditions:

• A donation equal to the fee from the charity Trees for Life (Charity Number: SC021303) for one tree will be sent to them by Krystal Hosting Ltd in our corporate grove for each purchase of a new hosting service for every customer (if one customer orders multiple packages, it’s one tree per package)
• This offer runs from 00:00 on 29/11/19 to 23:59 on 01/12/19.
• Changes to existing packages by existing customers are not eligible for this deal. 
• The hosting services eligible for this deal include all our Cloud Hosting accounts, all our Business Hosting accounts, all our Reseller Hosting accounts and all our VPS Hosting accounts but excludes all our specialist WordPress Hosting accounts with Onyx.  
• This deal is not available to those using our site purely to register domains. 
• If the purchased hosting service is cancelled within the first 60 days but not refunded, we will still make the donation for one tree to be planted.
• If the purchased hosting service is cancelled within the first 60 days and refunded, we will not make the donation for the tree to be planted. 
• The donation to Trees for Life will be made 60 days after the purchase of the hosting service so that we can identify any cancelled and refunded accounts.
